Do you need a yard, a garage, or a basement? Once you’ve got your parameters figured out, work with a real estate agent who understands the area where you’re looking to relocate.

Do your best not to rush into a decision. Don’t feel pressured into buying the first home you see. And don’t overlook red flags, as seemingly small issues can quickly become big nightmares.
