Inspirational Quotes to Motivate You
Did you know that I sometimes use motivational quotes to improve my mood? There is a lot of wisdom in the world, and whether you’re a mortgage lender, a nurse, an artist, or a bartender, there is so much we can learn from quotes those who’ve gone before us. When I need a pick me up, I look at some of these inspirational quotes. I thought I would share them with you.

What are you missing in your life? In your quest to find the missing pieces, are you missing out on what’s right in front of you? This isn’t about whether or not you need more material goods, or if you should buy that house. If it sparks joy, buy that house. But look deeper.

Emerson was a part of the transcendentalist movement in the United States in the middle part of the 19th century. He, along with contemporaries like Henry David Thoreau and Louisa May Alcott, focused the personal freedom of each individual, in both a human and spiritual sense.
Their philosophy also embraced simplicity, and that movement is seeing a revival today as people are downsizing to homes sometimes as small as 120 square feet. But being simple doesn’t have to be giving up everything to live as a hermit. You can make simple changes in your life today to be at peace with yourself and the world around you.
