This is Teona Rodriguez’s Story
Teona is driven by a desire for the simple life. Living in a home on top of a mountain with multiple acres gives her live a sense of calm and tranquility. And knowing that this kind of life is possible is what keeps her engaged with the mortgage industry and her work in marketing, to partner with agents in Asheville as well as home buyers. Every day, Teona can look out at her mountain views, take a deep breath, and feel at peace.
Meet Teona Rodriguez
Teona found herself in marketing at the age of 20 and never left the industry. Originally from New Jersey, she’s moved all over the country for school and jobs, heading first to south Florida, then to the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and eventually ending up in Texas.
It was a on a trip to the northeast that she drove through Asheville and instantly fell in love. She made her way back to Appalachia, leaving behind the concrete in Houston, to find some mountain quiet on her very own 5 acres near the Blue Ridge parkway.
She began working with GoPrime Mortage, Inc. in 2015.

She’s in a unique position as the sole marketing employee in a business for mortgage and financial professionals. Her social spirit and morning-person attitude balance out the office. While she has had the experience of buying homes before, she never fully understood the process until she began working with the team at GoPrime Mortgage, Inc. Learning how to be a better partner in the home buying process is a top priority.
Each day, she handles the company’s social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. She then puts on her administrator hat and conducts daily calls to motivate the team and focus on their short- and long-term goals. She also spends much of her day networking in the community.
Her favorite part of her job is handling the many events GoPrime Mortgage, Inc. articipates in throughout the community. She loves every part of it from pre-planning to set up and being able to greet new people. She especially loves to develop a theme and a coordinating tablescape to showcase her creative energy.
Her goal for herself and GoPrime Mortgage, Inc., is to be a preferred vendor. That when people ask about mortgages in the Asheville area, their team is at the top any recommendation list. Her vision is to be known, respected, and a group that people enjoy working with.

Northern Girl with a Southern Y’all
Though originally from New Jersey, Teona definitely found her peace here in the southern Appalachian Mountains. She bought on home near the Blue Ridge Parkway with several acres. On that land, she loves to get her hands dirty by planting a garden that seems to be popular with the local wildlife.
Before living near Asheville, Teona never felt like she had a place that provided her an inner peace. And today, she truly feels that ability to wind down at the end of a day to be critical for her overall well-being. She rarely comes off her mountain on the weekends.
